Public Relations promotes who we are, what we do, and why we matter. It is done even when we do not know we are doing it. Good PR is achieve through the promotion of a positive image of the American Legion Auxiliary. It is not about doing what is best for ME, it is about doing what is best for WE.
The purpose of PR is to build brand loyalty to The American Legion Auxiliary in all available manners. What we say and do on social media where we identify ourselves as members of the Auxiliary can and does reflect on the organization. This becomes negative PR.
