July 1st is the day the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Texas will “officially” start the 2020 – 2021 year.
Normally (we all acknowledge this year is anything but normal, right?) we would start our year with the Post DEC meeting after Department Convention. Since we are not having a convention this year the new Administrative year will begin July 1st. All committees will begin working on the 2020 – 2021 goals on July 1st. Department reports will begin with July 1st.
2019 – 2020 Committee Chairs should have their awards and certificates prepared for distribution at the Fall DEC still scheduled for September 26th & 27th at the Omni Hotel in Austin. Solid information regarding this meeting will be sent when it is available.
